Employee spotlight
Our inaugural Employee Spotlight is Danny Costa, aka Day Port Dan. Danny joined the Welcome Building Maintenance team in the spring of 2019, and he very quickly became an integral part of the team. Whether Day Porting, cleaning solar panels, or pressure washing, Danny takes on all his responsibilities with a positive attitude and completes them with unmatched quality.
With the recent launch of our “Coronabuster” spraying service, a service that kills 99.99% of Coronavirus, SARS, E.coli, mold, and other viruses with an EPA-approved disinfectant solution, we were looking for a reliable and dedicated employee to take to be out point person and take the lead for that division of the business. Danny was the obvious choice. His attention to detail while using the “Coronabuster” has allowed for our clients to get their companies back up and running after being affected by COVID-19, with the guarantee that their space is clean, and safer than ever.
When Danny is not working at Welcome, he likes to stay active and spend time with his family. You can probably find him on the San Francisco Bay, the Delta or another waterway enjoying his paddle board on the weekends, accompanied by his girlfriend. He also enjoys fishing and will never pass up the opportunity to spend the day out on a chartered boat fishing for Salmon or Ling Cod.
